Only successes count
Your monthly quota decrements only when Pinterest confirms the Pin published. Automatic retries and permanent failures never cost you a Pin.
Resets monthly
Fresh quota on the first of every billing period. Live usage is a GET /v1/rate-meter call or one glance at the dashboard.
Upgrade instantly
Hit your cap? Publishes return 402 quota_exceeded until you upgrade. One API call, one click, effective immediately.

What happens when I hit my monthly quota?+
Publish requests return
402 quota_exceeded. Reads and every other endpoint keep working. You stop making new Pins, nothing else breaks.Do failed publishes count against me?+
No. Quota only decrements when Pinterest confirms the Pin is live. Failed attempts and automatic retries are free.
How does annual billing save 25%?+
Annual plans are billed once a year at a 25% discount versus paying monthly. Starter is $81 a year. Growth is $261. Agency is $675.
Can I change plans or cancel anytime?+
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from the Stripe billing portal. Changes take effect immediately. Your current plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
What payment methods do you accept?+
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. Enterprise customers can arrange invoicing.
